2nd Annual
SURVIVAL, PREPAREDNESS & HOMESTEADING EXPO
What is SPHexpo?
SPHexpo stands for Survival, Preparedness and Homesteading Expo. This event will be held October 25 & 26, 2014 in Wausau, Florida at the Dalton Carter Recreation Center. (Also known as the Possum Palace)
3121 Possum Palace Drive
Wausau, Florida
So, what is different about this Expo? Well, all the traditional survival and preparedness vendors will be in attendance as well as fire arms dealers. These vendors will have many items to help you along your way to becoming self-reliant.
There will also be many different "homesteading" vendors with "How To" demonstrations as well as items to make your homesteading life a little easier.
This year we will have a large tent away from the noise set up for special "How To" demonstrations in self defense, survival techniques, etc. These will go on throughout the day and will last from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the subject matter.
Also new this year will be an in depth class on Saturday evening, after the Expo closes for the day, on Survival Preparedness. Subjects will include but not be limited to: Overview of preparedness, Long term Food Storage, Emergency Kits, Medical Necessities, Communication, etc. This class will include a notebook (one notebook per family/couple) with lots of lists and information for you to take home. The price of the class will be $20.00.The class will begin at 5:30p.m. and last until around 8:30p.m. (light refreshments will be offered during a brief intermission). For those of you coming from out of town, the area hotels will have a special rate for Expo attendees. You must pre-register for this class. Just call or e-mail. Our info is on the Contact page
